This Project was utility an elaborate tunnel which stretched 680 feet from the existing utility plant to the new fourteen story patient tower. The utility tunnel was ten foot wide and eight foot tall with the excavation over twenty foot wide and sixteen foot deep.  The purpose of this tunnel is to supply steam, electricity, and medical gasses from the utility plant to the hospital itself, along with the required emergency power.  In addition to the tunnel, PNCI Construction built a new stair tower, generator room, chiller plant and boiler room addition.
