Phase I of the Fairgrounds project consisted of the new fabricated metal building arena along with the new office/restroom on the east side of the facility property. The open air 22,500 square foot arena building has a closed west side consisting of masonry and siding to block the afternoon sun. The south side expanse is covered by twenty two multicolored sun/wind screens for protected use. Part two of this phase was the new construction of the 2,400 square foot show office with two family men/women restrooms and showers. The third portion of the work involved the new infrastructure, sewer and water lines, storm water management, landscaping, AV systems, and fiber optics. New RV locations were provided to house twenty four hook ups for overnight camper use during facility events.
