This project consisted of a new five bay fire station with living quarters, offices, day room and kitchen, IT room, and training/classroom/community room. The Green Globes design intent was to utilize as many local sustainable resources and recycled materials with as little environmental impact as possible. Existing site buildings were recycled/salvaged along with building concrete and block scrap for the new building. The environmental management plan was developed to control any onsite hazards to protect the local community neighbors along with the subcontractors on site.
